MOSAIC Digital Solutions is participating in an exciting development in collaboration with Roscommon County Childcare Committee which sees the first cohort of professional childminders using the MOSAIC Educator professional documentation system.
Childminding offers many benefits to children and parents but has remained at the margins of funding, support and regulation, in spite of its many advantages and its popularity among parents. This is set to change with the National Action Plan for Childminding which sets out a plan for extending State support and regulation to childminding on a phased basis, with access to subsidies for childminders through the National Childcare Scheme.
MOSAIC has been designed to meet the needs of all types of early childhood settings including childminding settings. The multi-faceted functions on MOSAIC will align childminding practice with national early learning and care quality and compliance standards and provides a safe communication system between the childminder and parents.
We are delighted to welcome childminders to TribeMOSAIC and would like to congratulate the team at Roscommon CCC for their innovation and initiative in this exciting collaboration. Over the coming weeks, childminders will also be participating in MOSAIC CPD as they step into a new professional space for childminding in Ireland.
